Six Things We Want You To Know About Diabetes

This is my third post about D-Blog Day 2010.  First was a reminder for D-Bloggers, and then was my entry for D-Blog Day, but today’s post is geared at those of you who don’t live with diabetes.  (Not that anyone fitting that description can’t read it too….you can!)

The subject of D-Blog Day was 6 things you want people to know about diabetes.  The intent behind choosing this subject is to help educate those of you lucky folks who don’t see diabetes first-hand.  It’s Diabetes Awareness Month, after all, so we want to make you aware!

Please forgive us if some of our six things sound like griping.  Diabetes comes with frustrations.  It’s all part of the package, and we just want to help you understand us a little bit more.

Links to all the participants can be found here, but to be fair, there are a lot of links.  So here, in no particular order, are some of my favourites that I hope you’ll read (in addition to mine, of course).
